I provide Teletherapy in four states. Teletherapy services are available for NJ, FL, PA & NY. Telesupervision is also available.
Sessions are offered 3 days a week on Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays. Morning, afternoon and evening appointments are available.
Some History
At Home Marital & Family Counseling, LLC is a private practice and was started in 1994 by Lorraine M. Barry, Ed.S., LMFT, LCADC, ICGC-II

LMFT stands for a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Lorraine became licensed in 1994. Despite its name a licensee is trained and qualified to deliver psychotherapeutic services to individuals as well as couples, & families. Lorraine Barry remains with the practice and is also the director of clinical services. Therapeutic issues addressed involve: Couple Conflict, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Co-Dependency, Parenting Support, Grief, Adoption, Blended Families, Attachment, Recovery Support, and Adolescence Stressors/Peer Relationships. Lorraine has also been trained in EMDR therapy which is more notably used with trauma and anxiety.
To better support clients across a full continuum of care, I now offer Emotional Support Animal (ESA) assessments as part of my therapy services as well.
Lorraine Barry obtained her Ed.S. from Seton Hall University in 1993. This degree has a specialized focus in Marriage & Family Therapy and prepared Lorraine for the New Jersey State licensing exam.
In 1988 Lorraine obtained her Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University. In 1986 Lorraine obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the CUNY system of NYC.
Lorraine has been a past president of the Central Chapter of NJ-AAMFT and past member of the NJ-AAMFT Ethics Committee. Lorraine formerly served on the Educational Committee for the National Council on Compulsive gambling.
Lorraine Barry is a Clinical Member of The American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT) and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. AAMFT is the professional association for the field of Marriage & Family Therapy. AAMFT facilitates development, research, and treatment standards in the field.
